This was my garage sale find of the century!
All three pieces were selling for 75 bucks
but of course I haggled it down to $50
Cha Ching!

and fortunately they lived just down the street so we held them home like this

Go muscle-man!

I had been looking everywhere for some cheap furniture and couldn't seem to find anything.
Now I can watch my little guy run a muck in the backyard while I sit comfortably in my yellow sunshine seats

My little girl is growing so fast!

I can't hardly believe my little baby is nearly 5 months old.
She is blossoming from a little cattapillar

into a beautiful butterfly...

and birthday parties keep getting better

Dakota's friend Will recently turned 4 and we had a swell time celebrating with trains and games

Dakota particularly liked holding hands with some of his best buddies

and check out that homemade cake!
I guess I have some pretty talented friends too!

another day at FMG

TRUCKS!

We recently went to a Truck Day at a local elementary school. There were all sorts of big work vehicles brought in for the kids to look at and climb inside. I thought this would be wonderful for Dakota since trucks are all he talks about (well, and dirt). He can name several specific construction diggers and various parts too.

So when we showed up I was a little surprised that he was still too scared to climb inside any of them. It took a lot of convincing just to get him to sit on the outside of the fire engine.

He did however love pointing to each one and telling me all about it

In the end, he decided he might like to go in the school bus.

And he loved it so much it took ages to get him to leave! Soon enough my boy.....
