My friend, if you wanted advice on ways to get that baby into this world faster, you should have asked your "good-catholic" friend with four babies! There are ways that definately work (trust me, just trust me). Of course, Keith would have to be a willing *ahem* participant (wink,wink), but they are alot more fun than drinking a cup of tea..... for you and for Keith!
Otherwise, just throw some castor oil into that tea. Not nearly as fun as the first option, but it works too. IF you happen to end up in St. Louis during your next pregnancy, I can introduce you to a very kind OBGYN who will help-along his patients once they cross 38 weeks. He is one of my all time favorite people! :0)
